I'm always trying something new. Some new skill I saw or thought was neat. I like to say "oh I can do that", and then try it. I'm totally ok with that. This past Christmas I got a sewing machine. Now, it's certainly not a top of the line sewing machine, but I was curious to see what I could do with this sewing machine. Well, after 257 hours of youtube "How to Sew" videos, 40 broken needles, sweat

ing and heavy breathing, a little cussing and lots of cheering on from my husband...I can make a few stitches. The SheStash was born because I had a purse with no middle pocket. All the loose stuff in my purse was all over the place. I sewed that 1st one and fell in love with the idea of little zipper pouches and all the things you can keep in them. I love how they can be funky or tame, and that when you unzip the pouch-you never know what kind of pattern you are going to see on the inside. Could be normal-could be crazy. I make the zipper pouches out of high-end fabric and upholstery. I'm always on the look out for one of kind textiles to use. Catch me at arts and craft fair, makers fair or an event like that. What do I do on Sundays?!
I sew pillows of course. Under my needle today is some of THE finest fabrics I’ve ever touched, and I’ve touched ALOT of fabric in my day.
It took a lot of confidence in my skills to even cut into the fancy fabrics today. One wrong snip could mean an expensive mistake.
