I haven't talked a lot about myself, so I thought I would share a bit. The pics on this post may seem random, but they have something in common. They were all taken by me while in bed. I have been chronically ill since around 2008. My passion for thrifting started out when I stumbled across someone on YouTube doing it. I hadn't been well enough to shop in a store for years so seeing those videos was amazing for me. I felt like I had left my house for a bit to go exploring when, in reality, I hadn't even left my bedroom. Over the past 8 years my health has been very slowly, but steadily improving. I leave my house a lot more and do more things than I ever imagined being possible. I know I don't look sick, but by no stretch of the imagination am I healthy. One of the things I have learned through being chronically ill and living with chronic pain is to ask myself, "How can I do this?" instead of saying "I can't do this." I also take things one step at a time. The first few times I listed something on ebay or Poshmark, it exhausted me. I live with severe brain fog, so anything new has a very high mental cost for me. Sometimes it can leave me mentally exhausted for 24-48 hours. However, I took it slowly and hoped for the best. Sometimes my photos aren't the greatest, but I am okay with that because even though I took them from bed, at least I did it. I will most likely never have a resale business that pays the bills, but it is something I enjoy doing. I also love all the support from others on Instagram. Thanks!
