It's Friday!!!!!!

Every have a week where you think you are going to get so much done and then here we are on Friday and that same pile is on my table that has been there for a couple of weeks, that same package is on the floor in my office because I haven't had time to box it up to send back, that same text message is still un opened because you haven't had time to deal with it, those emails are still flagged because you need to take time to answer them and that beautiful wedding inspo you got last week is still in your "work bag" because you haven't had time in the evening to work on it. So just what have I have done all week? It kind of looks like nothing :)

Here's to a great Friday to kick off the weekend!!!!!! Fresh bouquets in all the coolers, treat yourself and stop in and grab one!!!!

Rodeo Week in reveiw. I love this week!!!! This little small town comes together for a tradition for over 100 years!!!!

We love seeing friends and customers who we haven't seen since last year that stop in to say hi. The Queens always stop in to say hello. Rod was in the parade with our little flower cart. Paulette made the most beautiful horn swag for the new Sidney Iowa Rodeo Queen.

Thanks to The Vintage Spoon in Clarinda for keeping us stocked with Snackle Boxes all week and thank you to YOU for selling us out everyday!!!!

Our VIP's were the cute Riley family from Clarinda. We hope they had a great time!!!!

And we ended the week at the Rodeo.

A HUGE thank you to the rodeo commitee, the girls who organize the parade, the committee that organizes the Sidney Rodeo Days events, the city guys who go above and beyond to make sure the town is ready for all the visitors and thank you to everyone else I am forgetting. and thank YOU if you were one of the many visitors that come to Sidney. Because of your continued support this tradition continues!!!!!

Anyone else craving routine? and routine in the our world is a loose term because unexpected things (funerals, last minute birthdays and anniversaries that sneak up on us) happen everyday. But there is a routine to it all and I am ready for it. We don't have kids at home anymore so I can't even say "I am so ready for the kids to go back to school".

☀I always feel summer is such a "whatever we get done gets done" season, no hurry, no rush, no crazy (but it is a crazy schedule).

Maybe it's more of a season change?? It's been HOT here (of course, it's the midwest and it's been July). Fortunately we have had a couple of better days the last two days, I visited with a beautiful Lady that was in our store yesterday in Sidney and she had on shorts and an adorable sweatshirt. THAT is the perfect weather and I can't wait!!!!

It's also a weird season in retail, 100 degree days but fall and winter merchandise is coming into the store daily so I think that makes me want to rush this time of year.

Wow, all over the place this morning with my thoughts . 🤔

How are those ferns looking??? I love to see the new growth on mine at home several weeks after I watered them with the epson salt trick. They look great!!!!!

I don't want to talk about my other flowers, they are struggling, I am struggling. It's just flippin' hot and I think we are all over it!!!! Agree????
