Mountain Top Toys

Final two days to donate to SMSS's holiday wish list at Learning Express Toys - a chance to make the holidays special for a number of deserving local kids! All requested items are under $20, and many under $10.

Purchase something in-store or order through the SMSS online wish list and Learning Express will be sure SMSS gets your purchased gift in time:

Add one or more items to your cart to purchase for SMSS, then on your View Cart screen before checkout, please note what item(s) are from the SMSS wish list. We'll be sure Signal Mountain Social Services get your contributions before the holidays!

Hey, y'all. While this is the first Sunday on Signal in 33 years that won't include Mountain Top Toys, we do hope this weekend will be a successful one for mountain businesses.

We're gearing up on the Northshore for some upcoming holiday sale events at Learning Express Toys later this month, but thought we'd toss out a "virtual" Sunday on Signal special for old times sake - orders placed on our new website today get 10% off with code “SOS10” at checkout.* (LEGO, Tonies and gift cards not eligible.)

Visit: chattanooga.learningexpress.com

You'll see on our website homepage that we are featuring six area charities who have all created Holiday Wish Lists with us - including Signal Mountain Social Services. We’re always amazed at how supportive our customers are of these “Angel Trees in bins”.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, browse our website at your leisure (and stay on the mountain to shop), and we hope to see you at 2 North Shore in Chattanooga soon!

* In-store pickup orders via our website can be picked up next week.

We have new birthday registries for Signal Mountain Social Services, Downside Up Inc, Harmony Family Center and a summer camp gift registry for Camp Hope Chattanooga at our Learning Express Toys Northshore location!

The effort that these organizations put in to make life special for deserving children in our communities is nothing short of miraculous. If you'd like to purchase a gift for any of these kiddos, stop in our LE store or visit our website. (Or you can Venmo and we'll put your contribution toward the most immediate birthday.)

Thanks, y'all!

We may no longer be on the mountain, but birthday bins for Signal kiddos are now located at our Learning Express Toys location!

Or access them virtually via our mountaintoptoys.com website with links to each registry where you can place an order online for pickup at Learning Express Toys OR (if you order by Thursday) at Signal Mountain Pharmacy on Friday afternoon / Saturday morning.

Is your child celebrating a birthday this month? Stop down and create a bin! You will find a number of new items we didn't carry at Mountain Top Toys, along with your favorites. Plus, we're restocked with lots of candy and cold drinks!

Mountain Top Toys has left the building. But wow, did it take a lot of work. Thanks to all who pitched in, and incredible work by Joanna, in particular.

Follow us to Learning Express Toys at 313 Manufacturers Rd in North Chattanooga (across from Whole Foods). We just got in a huge candy delivery, and check out our new Wiggletz tiny 3d printed fidget animals.

We will continue to update mountaintoptoys.com for your convenience with the latest list of Signal kiddos who have birthday bins.

Remember, birthday gifts purchased by phone or on our website by Thursday of any week can be picked up at Signal Mountain Pharmacy Friday afternoon or Saturday morning upon request.

Thanks, Signal!

We have 6 birthday bins for Signal kiddos this weekend - all at our Learning Express Toys store at 313 Manufacturers Rd. Two are happening today, two on Saturday, and two on Sunday.

Any gifts purchased today (Thursday) via our website or by phone for any of the 4 parties happening Saturday and Sunday can be delivered by us to Signal Mountain Pharmacy for convenient on-the-mountain pickup tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning.

If this is your preference and you’re ordering on our website, just select “Signal Mtn Pharmacy” from the location drop-down menu at checkout. If you’re calling in the order, just let our staff know that you would like to pick up your purchase at Signal Mountain Pharmacy.

Again, the deadline each week for an order to be available for you to pick-up Fri/Sat at Signal Mtn Pharmacy is THURSDAY. (Online orders placed after 6pm on Thursday will need to be picked up at our LE store.)

For links to all April online registries (and one in May) visit mountaintoptoys.com

We again thank Signal Mountain Pharmacy for their partnership in making this convenient pickup option available to our mountain customers.

Based on how many customers take advantage of this over the next couple of months will help determine whether this option remains in play long-term.

So it turns out, when you move out of a location after 12 years, you do wonder who your last customer will be. We were delighted that Heidi Griswold (not pictured) and her daughter, Lily, were the last to make a purchase with us today.

Heidi has been a wonderful customer of ours since practically day one. So we were all smiles to see her and Lily walk in just a few minutes before close. And walk out with some delightful Geladough!

Fun little 12-year full-circle tidbit about today’s birthday registry. Our final one at this location. (The ones for next weekend move to our 313 Manufacturers Rd location on Monday.)

Well, this is it. The final day to shop with us at 1231 Taft Highway before we take this show on the road. (Specifically, to our Learning Express Toys location in North Chattanooga.)

Ah, but we DO have an announcement we hope can offer a convenient option for you - at least temporarily - when continuing to shop with us for birthday gifts via our North Chatt store. Patrick and Joanna explain in this video.

And a final reminder: Today is your last chance to get a bunny bucket at either store location. But please shop earlier in the day if you need personalization.

Mountain Top Toys is open 10am-5pm.
Learning Express Toys is open 10am-7pm.
