We at The Hub are reaching out to our community for assistance with a recent incident of vandalism in the men’s bathroom.

The walls were tagged with graffiti, causing damage to a space that many at The Hub, as well as others, use and value. From available information, two young teenage boys appear to have been involved. Our goal is to resolve this responsibly and prevent future occurrences—possibly through appropriate channels so the individuals can understand the impact and make amends if possible. If anyone recognizes the two from the attached pictures or has any information that could help identify them, please share it privately through The Hub messenger.

Thank you in advance for your help in keeping our spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Your kindness and vigilance mean a lot to us here at The Hub.

The Hub welcomes Movin Maxwell’s BBQ to downtown Silver City!

We’re thrilled to introduce a new family-run restaurant in our historic block: Movin Maxwell’s BBQ, a soulful, service-driven, family-friendly joint.

Ian, born and raised right here in Silver City, grew up learning the ropes of small business at the Maxwell House — a name that still echoes through local history. Hailey’s family moved to New Mexico nearly 20 years ago, and together they’ve dreamed, planned, and prayed for this restaurant for years. After getting married in 2018, they eventually returned to Silver City with a shared vision: to plant roots, raise their family, and personally invest in the community that shaped them.

Now it’s real. Movin Maxwell’s BBQ is opening soon. Serving up bold flavors, big-hearted hospitality, and a menu that celebrates community, faith, and family.
