Joe Holguin

Joe works with wood turned vessels and plates, bringing attention to the natural detailed wood grain. He also uses wood burning tools and wood stains to add depth, color, and detail to his more complex pieces.

The Clay Festival opening for these great works by local artist Mary-Clare Wilkinson, is this Friday, June 19th from 5-7pm!

Exciting News! Weekend at the Galleries (WAG) will be the first weekend in April this year! Our artist spotlight for the event will be Michael Wilkinson with his show, “Romantic Realism”.

We want to give a warm welcome to Michael Wilkinson. He comes to us all the way from New York! Welcome to the Silver City art scene!

Micheal’s figurative works come to striking life with an immense sense of whimsy and calm, or as in his words, “In an age where the purpose of much “art” is to shock, offend, or bewilder, art of beauty and meaning is a bright spot; a balm for our eyes and our souls...”. His works span from cast bronze, acrylic, and concrete.

Please join us April 3rd for our 1st Friday gallery walk and opening evening for the Weekend at the Galleries event. We will have refreshments, art, and a chance to meet the artist of these wonderful works!

Opening Reception: Friday, April 3rd, 5-7pm
