Before there was Scary Terry or Smooth Santana Moss, there was the Redskins Posse … Gary Clark, Ricky Sanders, and Art Monk. All they did was WIN two Super Bowls and light up NFL backfields for nearly 10 years! The Mid-Atlantic Sports Card Show is excited to welcome its second Posse member, RICKY SANDERS, to the show next month. RICKY SANDERS will be our special autograph guest at the Mid-Atlantic Sports Card Show: End-of-Summer Bash! This is a unique opportunity to meet a Redskins legend and one of the great NFL deep threats of the 1980s. As the end approaches, the Mid-Atlantic Collectibles World Cup Pool remains wide open with 4 individuals still in the mix to potentially win a low pop 2018 Mbappe PSA 9 sticker: Jon B, David M, Chris B, and Jason S. Two people (Jon and David) correctly called all four of the semifinalists!

Your faithful pool organizer was not able to attend any games in person, but has had a blast watching with family and fellow fans on the National Mall.

⭐🏈💥🏆Former NFL star wide receiver and Washington Redskins Legend RICKY SANDERS will be the special autograph guest at Mid-Atlantic Sports Card Show - End of Summer Bash! on Sat. Aug. 29!

Sanders is a 2x Super Bowl Champion (1987, 1991) and, along with Art Monk and Gary Clark, a member of the famous trio of Redskins wide receivers known as "the Posse."

One of the great NFL 'deep threats' of the 1980s, Sanders holds numerous Washington football records, and in Super Bowl XXII, he set Super Bowl records at the time for most receiving yards (193), most total yards (235), most touchdowns in one quarter (2), most receiving yards in one quarter (168), and longest touchdown reception (80 yards, tie).

​Sanders 12-year professional football career started in 1984 with the USFL's Houston Gamblers. In his standout rookie season with future HOF'er Jim Kelly, he had 1378 receiving yards and 11 TD receptions. After 2 years in Houston, Sanders spent 8 years with the Washington Redskins (1986-93) before finishing his career with the Atlanta Falcons.

Today, Sanders lives halfway across the country in his home state of Texas. He's making a special visit to Wash. DC at the end of August to meet collectors, hobbyists, and fans at The Mid-Atlantic Sports Collectibles Show! Don't miss this rare public autograph signing in the DMV with one of the Washington Redskins' greatest players of all time!
