Hip hip hooray it’s Tour de Fleece! Well it started yesterday but I was busy with 4th of July events so I’m starting today. I decided to start on this sweater quality I purchased from Jehovah Jiireh Farm and Fibers. I’m hoping I get enough yardage from 3 batts to knit my almost 10 year old daughter a sweater. I figured I could even do a crop sweater if I’m in a pinch!
Anywho I have two of these batts that are grey maroon and pink and they are alpaca and bombyx silk. The last batt is about the same maroon and but is a different blend. I’m going to pull the batts into color strips and spin like that. Here’s to some happy spinning and I’ll update my progress!

We’ve been working all weekend getting everything ready and today was the big day! The kids got dropped off at summer camp! They are so excited and I’m so glad they get this opportunity!
Anyways, thank you for your patience! It was hard having a last show before WAFA takes a break until September with so much personal stuff going on as well! I’ll be getting orders ready to ship out tomorrow! I hope everyone has a wonderful Tour de Fleece and a summer full of festivals and in person shows! Be sure to support all the local small businesses when you can!

It’s going to be in the 90s next week which is hot hot hot for New York! Working on getting everyone trimmed down to help stay cool! Hank and my cat Casper have always been friends. Not my best hair trimming but as long as it gets the length off it’s fine by me

Thank you to everyone that watched my live and stayed through my audio not cooperating. I think I’ve tried everything I can think of so I’m going to switch to my laptop next time and see if that helps!

Worked up a couple batts tonight using the spinner’s box I purchased from ewe2me2you and I just love how the colors worked up! The only thing I added was some Stellina from my stash!

I’m excited to be a vender for the June WAFA show in a couple of weeks! This show is a great chance to stock up for Tour de Fleece which is right around the corner!

Very sad to have to share we lost my oldest boy, Jackson. He seemed off yesterday but I thought he would bounce back. Unfortunately when I checked this morning he had passed away, like he had just fallen asleep 💔 Jackson was over 8 years old and was always such a kind soul. He loved having his head and ears scratched. I am glad I will have his boys to keep the line going. Rest easy Jackson
