We had an unusual job Friday. We had to remove a limb from a live oak growing in an atrium of a house. The limb had started rubbing on the roof again. It had been reduced in the past and also the roof had been modified to give more room. This time there were no options other than limb removal. The final crane pick was below the roof line in side the atrium. The limb diameter was 24 inches at attachment. The final piece was around 18 feet in length and weighed 2200 lbs. The rest of the tree was not to be pruned to allow better crane access which increased the difficulty of the job. Long story short, the job was safely done including sweeping the floor before we left.
