When you have a dog, you know right from the beginning you won’t have them as long as you want. But we give them our whole hearts anyway, knowing it will break one day.

My heart is broken as I let all of Millie’s “loyal fans” know that she’ll only be with us for another month or so. Hopefully longer, but she has tumors in her nose and face that are slowly taking her from us.

She is still her sweet, silly self, so please stop by the store to give her some love and attention. She’ll be there as long as she’s up to it. Being by my side and getting visits and pets from familiar and new faces are her favorite things.

It is both a blessing and a curse to have this timeframe, but we will make the most of the time we have left together.

Thank you to everyone who has loved her the past almost 12 years. She’s had an amazing, adventurous life. ❤️
