The second Thursday of each month is a flurry of excitement as the ASG gathers to share their latest projects! The American Sewing Guild (https://www.asg.org) is a nationwide organization dedicated to the promotion of sewing both as an art and as a life skill. Memberships are available to anyone 17 years old and up. Be sure to check out their site, as they have some great instructional resources on their blog! If you ever see a crowd in our classroom on the first Saturday of the month, it's probably QOV, or Quilts of Valor. This great team of volunteers works tirelessly to make quilts for our veterans as a tangible THANK YOU! for their service to our country--and they have a lot of fun while they cut and sew, too!
