This week our Maker Spotlight focuses on Jessica Gale of Good Vibes Oily. You can always find staples from Jess’s natural and clean line of body care products both on our shelves in our shop AND in our online shop. 💜
Jess’s self-care blends are one-of-a-kind. Each product is created in small batches in her home kitchen, and you can sense that small-batch feel in each of her creations. Shop her chakra, Zodiac and wellness blend essential oil rollers, shower steamers, sugar scrubs (some for body & some for lips), cuticle oils, lip balm and even natural bug repellent sprays and pet sprays! 🌿

When interviewing our makers, they were asked a series of questions to give you an idea of who they are, their background, what they make and the ideas behind their creations.

Q&A:
Q1. What is your name and where are you from?
A: I am Jessica Gale, the owner of Good Vibes Oily and a Special Education teacher living by the motto, “Ingredients Matter.” I am originally from New York, and now enjoy small town lake living!
Q2: What is your artistic background?
A: I do not have one at all! LOL! But I love to dabble in fun activities with artists. And my house is full of other people’s artwork, so I appreciate and am a huge supporter of the arts. My artistic abilities stem from home decoration and designing packaging and labels for Good Vibes Oily. Designing, choosing paint colors, décor and arranging spaces has always been fun for me, even as a child.
Q3: What inspired you to begin your craft?
A: About 10 years ago, I wanted better for my household and began to really focus on the ingredients in everyday products. Many were difficult to replace with store bought, so I decided to make my own! After experiencing the benefits, I started gifting the items I was making and the requests for more piled in. Good Vibes Oily was born in June 2020 with a handful of products on Etsy. The catalog of products continues to expand, along with community connections and retail opportunities!
Q4: What makes your products unique?:
A: I value clean, honest ingredients, eco-friendly practices, mindful living and products made with purpose and heart. Each product is created with love, gratitude and the hope that it brings a little more peace, wellness and good energy into your day.
