🍂 It’s time for a fall sewing reset! 🧵✂️

Pizza, pumpkins, and a Halloween classic — our kind of after-hours plans! 🎃🍕

The Fabric Mart team stayed after closing for a pumpkin carving night, complete with good food, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, and plenty of creativity. It was nice to step away from the day-to-day and enjoy some fall fun together!

How do you beat the heat? Katie from has a stylish solution: a gorgeous, swishy sundress! 💚

For her latest Fabricista project, Katie made the Chalk & Notch Noe Tank Dress in View C, using a lightweight challis with a vibrant kelly green background and bold aqua abstract swipes.

The finished dress features a beautifully open back with a tie closure, a long gathered skirt, and a fully lined bodice. Katie also shares helpful construction details, including how she handled the shoulder seams and her plans for keeping the lining in place without sacrificing the dress’s lovely drape.

It’s a great reminder that the right print and fabric can turn a sewing pattern into something truly special.
