My name is Aaron Curry owner & founder of The House of Heroes in Sioux City IA. I was born and raised here in Siouxland and I have been collecting toys, comic books, cards, and various other collectibles nearly my entire life. Since I was a young boy super heroes, games, and toys all made my imagination run wild. I was finally bit by that radioactive collecting bug when I was quite young and the rest is history. It was always my dream to one day have my own unique comic and collectible type shop and run my own business. That dream was turned into reality back in November 2015 when I opened Sioux Cities Largest comic book retail store to date.....the House of Heroes......my dream was finally brought to life! Family and friends came from far and wide for both shopping and gaming. That dream abruptly came to a halt when COVID-19 Started up and the government mandated store closures took effect. That was the #1 determining factor that forced my hand and I made the decision to close the store. It is now 2022 and the House of Heroes is still Very Much Alive and well or at least my dream is and I am still collecting like always. The difference is that Now I have so much more time to share my passion of collecting with my son and just spend more time with him and watch him grow as a person. With all that being said I want everyone to know that I Still want to BUY your Toys, Comic books, Cards and Collectibles!!!!! Why can I pay more? Simple....Because I am a collector and my business inventory is already stacked. I do not have Monthlh Rent to pah so that ! I would spend on renting a retail space gets spent on quality items! I already have a Full Time Job outside of this hobby.
