I created this company for parents and grand
parents who are tired of spending money on hair accessories that break easily and are thrown in the trash after just a few wearings. I use high quality products like ribbon made in the USA and nickel-free, 100% steel double prong clips to make my bows. I am always striving to find the best materials. Why the name Azélie's Bows? This company in named in honor of Marie-Azélie Martin. A mother of 9 children (most notably St. Thérèse of Lisieux) and a lace maker. Her lace business was so successful, her husband, Louis, sold his watchmaking business to help her! She died at age 45 of breast cancer in 1877. She was canonized by Pope Francis on October 18, 2015. I was inspired by her piety and strength and found her to be a perfect example to follow in my own business. How do you pronounce Azélie? Think of the flower "Azalea" and drop the "a" sound at the end.
