Happy Hobbit Day!
On this day in 1937, J.R.R. Tolkien released The Hobbit — a cornerstone of fantasy storytelling and one of the most collectible worlds ever created. From first‑edition books to movie posters, figurines, and tabletop treasures, Middle‑earth continues to inspire collectors everywhere.
At 1981 Collectibles, we love the stories that shaped our imaginations. Today we celebrate Bilbo’s journey, Tolkien’s legacy, and the magic of adventure.

What’s your favorite Hobbit collectible in your collection?

Drop a photo below — we’d love to see it.
