My darling (s), the sweetest creation I’ll ever take part of.

Blessed with another healthy baby in my womb, joining us in January of 2027 💛

05/10/2026

Mother’s Day 2023 was my second Mother’s Day, but my womb and my hands were still empty. It felt even more tragic because despite the desperate hope that I would see two lines on a pregnancy test that day, I was met with a period instead. I sat in Church that morning hopelessly wrestling with God trying to understand how I could reconcile with the awful irony of starting my period on Mother’s Day. As always though, He knew what I didn’t. Just a month later, I took another test and was thrown into the most terrifying and exhilarating journey of a healthy pregnancy with my sweet Edith. If you’ve ever been pregnant, you know that you date the beginning of that little babes life with the first day of your last period. Every Mother’s Day since I get to celebrate the beginning of that terrifying journey to trust God and my body to carry her life.

I wish I could say that I was exhilarated, but I was so full of doubt. Even after she was born I held my breath, and did for probably an entire year. I want to say that loss robbed me, and I guess it did of now three babies I never got to hold in my arms, but I think it’s also made motherhood so rich. I’m always excited for new seasons with her, but I never wish away time. I savor every second I get with her, even the hard seasons. I see her through eyes that have seen grief, and through that lens, her life is so sacredly celebrated 🥹

Barnacles are hitting the website tomorrow 4/25 at 9am AKST 😘

I’m not gonna say this is your last chance to get a pair of barnacles, but I will say I have no future plans to make more as I won’t be taking the summer ceramics class and undecided if I’ll be doing fall, so snag them while you can!

Barnacle earrings are back babyyy 🌊 and these are my two favorites that you might have to fight me for, I don’t know what to tell you.

This update is gonna be this weekend, likely Saturday but keep your eyes peeled on my posts to keep up with the announcement ☺️ I’ve got 15 pairs going up and 3 pairs that are in my stories right now on sale because they’ve got a flaw, but they’re nearly half the price! Go check them out 🥰

This winters project was creating a room for me in the house, a physical space where I could take up some room. As our little girl grows, the need for me to give up the other bedroom grew too. I wanted to shrink myself but vulnerably asked my husband for his creativity to construct this room and here we are, taking up space as a mamma because that’s the kind of mamma I wanna be. I willingly and joyfully tend to the needs of my family as I continue to transform into a mother, but I won’t be a mamma who makes my needs small and so I wrote a little bit about it, and I’d love for you to follow along 🫶🏼 link to my substack in my bio

My heart has been bubbling out of my chest lately. Baby girl (who will always remain such) turned two, we’re building a studio in the house, I’m back to teaching classes and did a workshop at the high school and start as an art mentor at the middle school tomorrow and I’m just finding myself needing to be so present in everything so it doesn’t sneak past me. I create so much more life when I’m unplugged.

I vulnerably started a substack because I love writing so much and it often feels like my words get lost on here, so if you like short reads about business, life, vulnerability, and being a mamma I’d love to see you follow along there

🫶🏼 big love to you all.

If you watched my video yesterday, this post won’t surprise you. I am so excited to teach at the library! With the help of the library covering the cost of supplies and my simplifying the class a bit, we were able to get it down to $50 a person. My classes are usually around $80, so if you’ve wanted to take it in the past but maybe weren’t in the position to pay the $80 then my hope is that this is a little more doable for you!

Come create in community and learn how to handcraft earrings. My hope and joy is that you have fun and take home useful skills as a beginner to be able to craft at home. All of the tools in this class are low cost and intended to inspire an affordable entry into jewelry making. Excited to see you there!!

Just a season of finding the delight and attempting to share it, a season of

Shifting to smaller batch collections
Generating community focused workshops
Helping people connect Art & Business
Stirring up creative inspiration
And encouraging people to be more intentional in the seasons of waiting.

What are you interested in learning more about? Business 101? Types of jewelry making? Learning how to teach a class??

Forever my sweetest valentine, my best friend, and most constant companion. Feeling grateful that 10 years into knowing you, our love for each other has grown not because we are free from conflict but safe in it. For most of my life I avoided it, with claws out ready to defend at any attempt to question my character. Now I crave it, opportunities to shift my posture from victim to accountable because you’ve never been vindictive in your call to help me grow.

You hold me so tenderly, and almost more so when we disagree. It never feels comfortable to be on different vantage points, attempting to meet each other to view the horizon from the same place, but it is always so so safe.

A sentence in my vows read “most people say they’re thankful that their partners bring out the best in them, but I’m more grateful that you bring out the worst.” Which felt weird to say, because I wasn’t sure how it would come out at the altar, but you smiled knowing exactly what I meant. Because your character has always called me to accountability you don’t let me settle into victim hood, you call me into healing and we are so much better for it. I praise God for you every day, and for giving me the gift of this extra little valentine that we get to hold every day. Love you baby 🤍
