Well gang, it happened. I turned 40!

I never thought I’d feel this young getting so old, but here we are. And I have to say, 40 is starting off pretty damn good.

Lizz Gercken put together such an amazing birthday for me, and I couldn’t thank her enough for making the day so special. Somehow, I got to spend my 40th doing what I love, working at the forge, making knives, laughing, and being surrounded by some of the best people I could ever ask for.

The older I get, the more I realize that life really is about the people you get to share it with. I’m incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends and family who have stood by my side through thick and thin, celebrated the good times, and helped me through the hard ones.

Thank you to everyone who came out, reached out, and helped make my 40th one I’ll never forget. I love you all more than you know.

Here’s to 40 years of great memories, crazy adventures, hard work, plenty of mistakes, lots of laughs, and one hell of a ride.

I can’t wait to see what the next 40 have in store. 🍻🔥
