Alright y’all.. I have a sweet friend who is need of a few things up in Virginia. They have no power or water at the moment and the property is so bogged down that they cannot get any kind of vehicle back to the horses to drop round bales or water tanks. Her horses are out of water but they’ve managed to get a few buckets of water for the night to them and have potential help coming with more tomorrow. The horses are also completely out of feed/hay & they’ve spent all they had trying to keep enough groceries and fuel for the generator to survive these last few days. She’s going to check to see what the local feed stores have in stock and get back with me in the morning to hopefully call and pay for feed by phone for her to be able to have it picked up or delivered. I would love to be able to send her funds to help with food and fuel as well if she’ll allow me. If anyone would like to pitch in you can cashapp/Venmo me personally & I’ll provide proof of purchase/transfer of funds or I can share the feed store’s information in the morning if you’d prefer to call them yourself. She also has found a lady willing to give them square bales to carry back to the horses by foot at 6.00 a bale that’s not terribly far and currently awaiting answers on how she can have payment sent for that as well.
