Good morning!
What should the first song be that’s played on the first acoustic guitar?

I just closed up the raffle guitar and it tap tunes way better than the first 2! It’s going to shift as other components are added but this one is producing tones that are very musical! Don’t forget to buy your tickets!

Busy weekend and never enough time in a day! This is my acoustic. Mesquite back and sides that have been ebonized. I was shooting for this finish for a very long time and the fact that it’s on my first acoustic guitar is even better!

Next steps are the binding and end graft. Finished my binding routing jig. Broke it in on my guitar and the channel is perfect!

The mortise and tenon jig tool is on its way.

Plus I dug out some mesquite that I’ve had for 6-8 years in my stash for the neck blanks. I’ll start cutting those out this week and designing the headstock.
