Hey everyone. Game of Shrooms is over for another year. It was fun. I had 3 claimed pieces and 2 that I picked up this morning that had blown over in the wind and were not found. I haven’t decided yet if I will just add them to my stock or put them aside for next year. I’m sure this wasn’t too fun for anyone who isn’t local to me and I really should have thought about posting more info ahead of time. With that in mind, if you found this interesting please go check out the Game of Shrooms website. You can also follow the official Instagram account for it and get updates before next year’s event. There is a map with all the people who have signed up to make something to drop and it is world wide. You can find the artists IG (and occasionally fb or websites) by clicking on their pin in the map. There are probably people in your area doing it. Maybe you will even want to make something yourself next year. ❤️

First and second drops are happening.
Hilltop-Rosenwald Park is my first stop today. First drop is under a tree- photo 1 is a close up and 2 is a wider view. Second drop is next to some flowers at the base of the flag pole- photo 1 is close up and photo 2 is a wider view.

It’s Game of Shrooms Day!! I made all of these mushroom themed hand stamped metal pieces to drop around Smyrna Tennessee for people to find and keep. My drops will be happening later on today but there will be hints to location posted here and on IG when they do.

Also Me: Uh no. You literally have a show Sunday that you made that for. You can make another one for yourself later. Maybe in the winter after busy season ends. Something to look forward to, you know when you have a break around mid December into January.

Me: hisses in resignation.

One week from today!! I am so excited to be going back to Clarksville for this show. It is always an amazing day with so many unique vendors. If you are in the area ( or if you are up for a road trip) and you enjoy a bit of the more unusual things in life you won’t want to miss it.
