Fall yarn is starting to arrive 👀 You have to feel it to believe it, Rambouillet Air is so luxurious and light and soft and decadent and cozy and can you tell I’m a big fan of it? 😉 We have several patterns to go with Rambouillet Air and most of them only require 2 or 3 skeins! As a bulky yarn, it will work up quick in whatever project it goes into. I have to say that this first fall yarn shipment really didn’t disappoint ❤️

These recently finished shop samples are too beautiful not to share! Haley did a great job knitting a Wavy Triangle Shawl out of Noro Silk Garden Sock (3 skeins). And Brittany did amazing lace work on this Lady Stratheden's Shawl using 2 skeins of Silky Wool. Aren't they both stunning?!

There are countless color combinations for both patterns in our Fall Makealong. It's so hard to choose (I think at least 3 of the Saugerties combos I was convinced at some point would be the one I choose for my own... we'll see which one prevails!) Hopefully this gives you inspiration, not indecision. We can't wait to see what everyone chooses! Both patterns call for a DK weight yarn so our shop picks are Scout and Patagonia.

If you attended our reopening celebration last week you probably saw the "Guess the Fiber Contents" contest. The results are in: we had 3 people who got numbers 1 - 8 completely correct! The bonus was tricky, but one person was the closest so they're our winner! This person has already been notified to receive their prize. Congrats to the winner and to everyone who participated! Was it harder than you thought it'd be? There were a couple tricky ones for sure, but it was all fun and I can't wait to do it again at our next event (maybe LYS day next year?!)

Thank you to everyone who came out for our grand reopening celebration! It was a really fun day that I'll cherish for years to come. Big shout out to all the participants in our chopstick knitting and DIY crochet competitions - I was very impressed with every one of you! I think we'll have to make a tradition out of some of these games. Speaking of games, if you're wondering about the results of the "Guess the Fiber Content" competition, you haven't missed anything! I'm still tallying up the results and will post soon when we have a winner. Thank you again for a memorable and special day!
