Free Rabies Shots for Dogs and Cats Today ONLY

Free Rabies Shots are being offered through Of One Accord Ministry, Monday, Oct 7th from 9-4pm at the Market Place location across from the Shepherd’s Center here in Rogersville.

It’s 100 Brownlow Street. Free vaccines for either dogs or cats are available. One day only to plan to bring your pet.

Clinch High School RAM Medical Clinic – Saturday Sunday Oct 12-13

The patient parking lot will open no later than 11:59 p.m. (midnight local time) on Friday night, Oct. 11, and remain open.

As patients arrive at the parking lot, they will be provided with additional information regarding clinic opening processes and next steps. Clinic doors typically open at 6 a.m Saturday Oct 12 and Sunday Oct 13

Patients should be prepared with their own food, water, medicines, and clothing when arriving early. Bathrooms will be provided.
Free dental and medical services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic.

I’m not using scare tactics, but Monty Fritts might have passed the most critical piece of legislation in the history of our nation for our generation.

The salvation of America is not who is elected in the next election. Not if we believe II Chronicle 7:14

The 2 most quoted scriptures in the American Church is John 3:16 and II Chronicles but I question how well we understand how to do it in a way God accepts.

I would call for Every Member, Every Church, Every County across our state to participate.

Ninevah wasn’t 50% They were 100%
Babylon during the time of Esther wasn’t 50% They were 100%

God is calling you to be a leader during this most critical time.

Tirelessly during June and July call on people to participate.
People from your church- other churches, other ministries.

Let everyone know and we pray for the Holy Spirit’s conviction to respond like we saw in Ninevah.

Friends in a 1 miles relay race- a track coach gives 4 people a baton. Each runner carries the baton one lap around the field handing it to the next runner.

The coach always, always, puts his fastest best, strongest runner last. You are that last runner. God strategically positioned you in history to carry the last baton across the finish line.

Appalachian Miles for Smiles to be in Rogersville, June 6-7

Appalachian Miles for Smiles has become a familiar name to families in Hawkins County with dental and vision needs. The team will again be in Rogersville, located at Market Place on Brownlow Street, across from the Shepherd’s Center, Thursday, June 6th and Friday June 7th from 8am-4pm.

Services to be offered this year are divided into a Thursday and Friday category. On Thursday, people can get free Dental care as well as Vision exams and free eyeglasses. Pulmonary chest and heart exams will also be done.

On Friday, free Dental and free Vision will be also available along with Women’s Health exams including (pap smears and general medical issues).

Dental services include both fillings and extractions.

Services are by appointment and residents needing services need to call Appalachian Miles for Smiles in Kingsport at 423-230-8888. Listen to their menu and push extension 1 for Vision, Pulmonary and Women’s Health. Push extension 2 for Dental only.

If there is a problem getting through, call the Of One Accord office at 921-8044 and while they cannot make appointments, they can send names to Kingsport to insure they are included.

Clear Springs Baptist Church from Corryton has been coming to Sneedville for over 15 years now. We have a great partnership with this great group of folks.

We express our greatest thanks to the Hancock County Superintendents office and the Hancock County Elementary School for the privilege of using their gym. All of us will take utmost care to protect the gym floor during this event.

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

Speak it out: "Jesus is the reason for the season" can sometimes sound like a Christian cliché but if we let it, this can be a profound statement that shifts our mindset. Jesus is the reason for the season because he brings hope to both bleak and bustling lives, for those of us in the darkness and those who’ve simply forgotten to slow down and enjoy the presence and love of our Saviour.

60% of America believes the end of the world is near. God puts a hole inside of us that knows there is a "NEXT" and God made us to ask questions to search for the answer of "How to Prepare" for what is NEXT. Jesus is that answer. Christmas is the time to find it.

God sent us His son, through the virgin birth of Mary, to offer salvation for the world. The Christmas season is meant to celebrate not only the birth of Jesus but the gift of His life, death, and resurrection. Christ, the hope of the world, loves you and me. He’s available when we simply call on His name. He forgives our sins and assures us of a future in heaven. He comforts and brings hope. Why not celebrate Him and His birth and make Jesus the reason for the season?

Sometimes we get so busy during the holidays that we forget we have hope. We miss the point of Christmas, placing importance on gifts and parties—not Jesus. But this year, you and I don’t have to miss out. We can cling to His hope, revel in His love—spread it too—and experience the embrace of the Saviour born in that simple manger.

Pray: Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking.

Please forgive me of my all my sins!
By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Saviour. Amen.
