I flew into Boston, MA to create something special for my childhood friend’s 40th birthday, and he had one request: ALL BLACK EVERYTHING. 🖤
Despite catching a bad cold right before the trip, I was determined not to let it stop me. With the help of one of my amazing friend’s (Zo), I did everything I could to fight through it, get to Boston, and still DELIVER the vision! 🖤
I created a custom, all-black balloon display featuring a dramatic organic balloon garland with balloons in multiple sizes, a sleek matte-black backdrop layered with a black shimmer wall, personalized TONY lettering, and a glowing Happy Birthday sign to bring it all together.
The black-on-black textures gave this setup EVERYTHING it needed… clean, masculine, sophisticated, and bold without needing a single pop of color.
Coming from Atlanta to Boston to create this for someone I’ve known since childhood made this one extra special. Thank you, Charles, for trusting me to be a part of your milestone celebration. 40 looks good on you!
