We are truly grateful for your ongoing support and generosity, which play an essential role in sustaining the stability of the Snohomish Senior Center. Your thoughtful donations help us continue providing valuable services to our seniors and ensure the thrift store remains a vibrant part of our community.

As we strive to maximize the positive impact of your contributions, we want to share how you can help us further. Our garbage and recycling expenses currently exceed $1,700 each month. Donations left after hours are often rummaged through by passersby and sometimes damaged by overnight weather, which can prevent us from fully utilizing your generosity. While your intentions are always appreciated, these situations sometimes result in additional garbage expenses for the store.

To ensure your donations have their greatest possible effect, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
1) Drop off your donations during business hours, so we can properly receive and protect them.
2) Donate items that are clean and in saleable condition, which helps us provide quality goods to the community.
3) Avoid donating items that should be disposed of as garbage, as this helps us minimize costs and direct resources where they are most needed.

Every carefully selected item you donate directly supports our mission and enables us to serve more seniors. With your help, we can continue making a meaningful difference for our community.
