Delphiniums, hydrangeas, clematis, bells of Ireland, and raspberry foliage together created these arrangements.
3 arrangements set on each side of the entrance doors for a beautiful welcome into the reception venue.
It’s not often I design flowers for weddings anymore. Maybe a few per year when “a friend of a friend” recommends me. Honestly, it’s pretty easy to forget just how much work goes into weddings, the checklists, ordering, freaking out when the hybrid delphinium might not come in, then freaking out when it does and it manages to wilt even in the cooler, the designing 30 centerpieces (thanks, Erin, for helping!), renting a van (thanks to husband for driving and carrying stuff), etc.
We were reminiscing on the drive home how I used to design weddings every weekend. What a different life that was!
Yes, designing flowers is a beautiful endeavor and I’m thankful I have had the privilege to work on so many weddings over the years, couples trusting me to be part of their day.
It is hard work behind the scenes, so many levels of making it all come together. Ha, I started this post just to share some pretty and now find myself thinking about all the designers out there giving it their all to beautify someone’s wedding. You all are amazing and I wish you all the best 🙂💕
