The Spot

The Spot is a fun place to gather with friends to enjoy an old fashioned ice cream bar serving hand crafted premium ice cream. Come check us out!

On your mark, get set....

I'm almost ready to go!

I am creating The Beacon Buyers Club over on my NEW PAGE The Beacon Snyder.

It will be free to join and I will be posting photos of 15 to 20 items that I have for sale a couple days a week.

For registered buyers, you may comment SOLD under an item and it will be set back for you. Locals can also comment PU, indicating they prefer to pickup the item in the next few days. If you need shipping, I will hold the item until Friday, when all invoices will be emailed.
Complete instructions will be posted in the next few days.

Please go check out and like my new page The Beacon Snyder and also notify friends that might be interested to like The Beacon Snyder page and once I get everything set up, we will get folks registered and start!!

I will also try to be Open on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 to 5.

I will be trying to be open more if my household can stay well!!

Flavors of ice cream available right now are Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla Creme Cookie, Butterfinger, Cookies n Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Coffee with Cookies n Cream and Cotton Candy.

The Scurry County Republican Party Headquarters will also be open on Wednesdays from 10 to 1.

So, now their hours are:
Tuesday 1 to 4
Wednesday 10 to 1
Thursday 1 to 4.

Have you noticed the paper is off the windows of The Spot at 2509 College Ave?

Well, due to circumstances beyond my control, The Spot will NOT be opening up as a ice cream shop right now.

Starting today, The Scurry County Republican Party will have their headquarters in a portion of the building.

Stop by for a visit and pick up a cap, signs, buttons or flags, and other items they have.

Their hours are:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 pm.

We are excited to be part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Scurry County Golf Course!! Come on out tomorrow and get some ice cream and celebrate with us!

Come get some delicious ice cream this Wednesday and Thursday in the park for the Fourth of July celebration. We'll have a booth set up out there, serving multiple different flavors along with floats and our new Italian Ice!

We will have more information about our tentative store opening, and our days/hours, hopefully Monday of next week!
