Caught a 20 inch brown somewhere on a bobber and three nymphs? The Driftless or Coulees in Wisconsin offer these gems... Wild trout, not stocked. Fussy, and on tiny spring creeks cold as the mists of time itself. Here is a beauty caught on a dry-fly bounced off a grass clump... Hit the water and bang! All this I learned from you!
I was able to drive my ranger down the road to fish a creek after my chores (per my husband) were done. I did the drive by and drive around, as you taught me. Ran into a guide (rich), your twin, with 2 young ladies. Asked how their fishing was as they were leaving. He recommended crickets (need to learn more about flies) and told me where they fished . Then I actually caught two on black fuzzy things! (The only fly I had that was big enough for my line- need to work on that! )
Really didn't realize how much I learned from you till I went out on my own!

Who would be interested in a fly casting master-class (beginning through advanced) fly casting class in August prior to throwing streamers or hoppers and etc.? Class on the grass here in Soldiers Grove. Three casting classes were conducted this year!
How would you like to be able to cast in super-tight situations? Roll-cast 50 feet? Change directions in your cast? Avoid trees and bankside brush? Here in the Driftless our streams are often choked with brush, and the big trout love the cover! Solve problems on the stream by not by-passing holding water for more open casting areas, but get your fly where it needs to be!
This class is limited to 3 persons. August dates open... I prefer a Friday afternoon so that you can go fishing with new-found skills!
Class is $100 each. Held near or in Soldiers Grove in the Driftless area of Wisconsin. Learn new skills and then go apply them on the weekend here in the Driftless where we have over 1000 miles of spring creek trout fishing.
