It's only human to want to deny that anything bad or undesirable could happen. o say that we endorse them for use by our family and friends. SIMPLE PUMP
If you have a well, you have to get the water to the surface reliably and in any weather. That's what the Simple Pump is made to do. It uses the same well as your electric pump system, so long as you have a 4" casing or larger. The Simple Pump is a completely independent system that goes down the well off to the side of the current plumbing. It will lift water from 325 ft and will pump into pressure. You could hook your home up to the Simple Pump with a hose and pressurize your water system so you could go in and get a shower or just have it on tap. Winter weather? The Simple Pump works through extreme winter cold. A friend in Eagle River said he waited for brutal weather to go out and test his Simple Pump. Throughout the frigid night (-25 F and worse), he went out every few hours and pumped another bucket full of water, just to make sure the pump would keep working. He could not find any problem with the system through such a torture test. Simple Pump beats every hand pump we could find. You can find them cheaper, but you won't find a better pump for the price! LONG-TERM FOOD STORAGE:
You can pinto beans, white rice and even food-grade buckets at local stores. We don't intend to get into a price war with Sam's Club, but we DO carry hard-to-find items like mylar food-storage bags and oxygen absorbers. This will allow you to buy your dry goods in bulk and store them yourself, saving a lot of money over having someone else do it for you and then paying to have it shipped across the country. We gear our pricing for larger orders since you wouldn't typically use this type of material in tiny quantities if you were putting it into action. You can buy and then use them up over time, or you could get together with friends, family or neighbors to make larger purchases. We can even come hold a Patriot Party to show you how we use the mylar bags for our own food storage. We can demonstrate how we store the food and offer suggestions and tips. Why sell long-term food storage merchandise? Realize that Pharaoh went from being king of Egypt to ruler over a section of the earth because he had food when nobody else did, Genesis 47:13-21. If something happened that kept the food from showing up for awhile, how long could you feed your family? A little reading of history shows that not only is this very possible, but also that tyrants try to keep people from getting food so as to control the masses. In today's economy, if you lost your job, what would your family eat? Food keeps getting more expensive as the dollar loses its strength. Preparedness gives peace of mind. Be aware. Be prepared! AR 500 BODY ARMOR:
We've done our homework. There are a few really great manufacturers out there, but we put our money on AR500 and we stand by that decision. You can spend less, and you could spend more, but for the money we believe this is the best product on the market. Body armor is not a small purchase, so we encourage you to do your own homework. Call with thoughts or concerns and we'd be glad to discuss things with you. We want you to make an informed decision, whether you buy from us or not. We can explain our reasons for our choices and then you're free to make your own choices. We don't do high pressure sales. Be aware: You have to be 18 to buy body armor and the State Department won't let body armor leave the country (by you OR us). Why buy armor? When a society collapses, whether short term (Katrina) or long term (just read your history and note the patterns as they relate to where we are as a country today), the greatest threat is usually in the neighbors that didn't prepare and now they're terrified. Growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast, I have seen people wait until the hurricane is blowing gale-force winds through town before they decide to buy the last plywood, batteries, or food, That's when a lot of other people have decided the same thing. What would otherwise have been peaceable and gentle people are now terrified and grasping at straws. They can get violent and lose control. You'll avoid those times? Excellent, but those people may come looking for someone that's better prepared and seek to take your things for their own family. Body armor is not for people looking for trouble, but for protecting you when trouble comes to find you. It's better to have it and not need it than the alternative. We choose AR500 armor for our family and we recommend it for you and yours. COLD STEEL:
Any edged tool you can think of, we probably have it. We don't sell scalpels, but we sell razor sharp blades in many forms. Want a spear, tomahawk, machete, sword or dagger? We even have halberds and pikes. And we sell knives, too! We have awesome folders and great fixed blades. We offer blades for hard field use or for special use and awesome display. Just be warned that it will take a while to thumb through it all...and you're probably going to want more than you thought you would. And, yes, you have to be 18 to order edged tools as well. Why get blades? Guns make better weapons in a lot of situations, but blades are stealthy and quiet. You can kill and butcher an animal without alerting all the area bears to your kill. Edged weapons don't run out of ammo. If you don't know how to put a good edge on a blade and how to turn an animal into food, it's time to find someone that can help you learn. We recommend the Spyderco Knife sharpening kit - you can find it for around $80 if I remember correctly. We have a few of them and use them often. We don't have them for sell yet, but that's on the radar. Knowing that you can sharpen a blade with a rock if you had to, and that most people could never make primers for reloading, we suggest you get some good edged weapons for the many uses they already serve, and even for the just in case possibilities as well. ATTITUDE:
It's time we stop being passive and isolated. It's time we connect more with our neighbors and community. It's time we become all the more of a mover, shaker and motivator. If you don't want to run for office, at least learn more about who IS running, and support your candidate with more than a smile and a vote. Talk to your loved ones, your neighbors and anyone else you can. While we certainly don't recommend telling people about your own prepping, we do suggest you cautiously ink up with like-minded people. For every person who is prepared in some way, that will be one less person banging on (beating down) your door if times get ugly. Regardless of why the hard times come, those that are prepared will have a lot easier time dealing with them than those who fiddled with glee through the times of planting and harvest!
