The Soldotna Mall Market will be taking a short break while we reorganize and build something better.

Over the past several months, we've had too many vendors register but not show up. While our community continued to support the market, that only works for so long before people begin to wonder whether the event is worth attending. At our last market, even with more vendors participating, attendance reflected that loss of confidence.
We care deeply about both the vendor experience and the community experience. Rather than continue hosting an event that isn't living up to what it should be, we've decided to pause, regroup, and reimagine it.
The good news? We're already working on what comes next.
When the Mall Market returns, our focus will be on creating stronger, more engaging community events with more reasons to attend than shopping alone. We want each event to feel worth showing up for — for families, community members, vendors, and everyone involved.
