re! Located right off Somerset Square across the street from the Somerset Library and Epercie. We are now booking April lapidary classes! No experience necessary, you’ll be surprised at how easy this is for even beginners. Our students are saying this is surprisingly relaxing, and too much fun! These are one-on-one lapidary classes where you can learn to cut*, shape and polish stones! These classes are offered in one of our workspaces here at Gypsy Hawaii. We will have complimentary stone materials, tools (and safety gear, of course) that you can use. Featured local artists:

We have a mellow vibe going in our unusual building. The building was the village doctor’s office from 1893-2009. Stop by and check us out. Make a day of it, we have several wonderful eateries and bars within walking distance of our shop.

We are not accepting new vendors at the moment as our rooms are completely full. We are working on expanding and will make announcements when we are open to new vendors later in 2025.

6 years difference! 🥹 Can you believe it’s been SIX years since we started renovating this building and getting it ready to bring Gypsy Hawaii to Somerset, Ohio?

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to share a little bit of Gypsy Hawaii history as we get closer to our anniversary celebration in October. 🎃

And believe it or not… Gypsy Hawaii actually has nearly 17 years of history behind it! There’s a lot of story to tell. ❤️

Bonus hours tomorrow at Gypsy Hawaii! 🌺

We’re normally closed on Wednesdays, but we have big plans to work on projects in the building tomorrow, so the Somerset shop will be open 10:00am–2:00pm!

📷 We spent the morning “renovating” our new shack at Thornville Backwoods Fest! We’re making a few improvements, replacing some wood, and removing some unnecessary pieces to let a little more sunlight in. ☀️ Check us out in the woods September 18th-20th in spot 87.

But the real highlight? My new Backwoods neighbor — this gorgeous, HUGE tree! 🌳

It was humid today and we had a storm roll through, so I already know this tree is going to bless us with plenty of shade and shelter. Now let’s just hope for no rain later this month. We can’t take anymore! 😂🌧️

Less than 3 weeks until Backwoods Fest! Please read below for a couple of important announcements.

We’re switching things up this year! We have a NEW spot — 87! 🎉

We’re still tucked away in the woods, and the good news is… you won’t have to walk nearly as far to find us this year!

And because Backwoods is one of the rare times we pack up the shop and hit the road, Gypsy Hawaii in Somerset will be CLOSED September 17th–20th.

So if you’re looking for us that weekend, come find us in the woods! 🍁✨

We’ll have tons of handmade Gypsy Hawaii goodies with us, and we can’t wait to see all of you!

These beauties are giving all the dreamy, icy blue and soft pink vibes! 💙🩷 Each pair is handmade with faceted glass beads, sparkling silver accents, and finished with gorgeous chalcedony spheres at the bottom.

The chalcedony has such a soft, milky blue color that it almost looks like little drops of moonlight. 🌙✨ And the sparkle in these is even better when they catch the light!

I’m not going to lie, this has not been an easy week. But .. we just finished this piece today, and I swear, the colors have such a calming, almost peaceful effect. 💙💜💚

There’s just something about those swirling blues, purples and greens … that beautiful luna moth in the center … that feels like a little breath of fresh air.
