September 11, 2001. The day an ordinary morning turned into a day we will never forget.

Today we remember all of the lives that were lost, the families that lost love ones, and all of the brave heroes that ran towards the chaos as everyone was running away.

The Bible says “Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony” Colossians 3:14.

I will always remember September 11th, but I will also always remember who we became on September 12th. Different languages, cultures, and families all unified together. We hugged tighter and prayed for strangers. We let our love unify us, despite our differences, and grew stronger through the hard days, weeks, months, and years that followed.

Let us not forget that love, and most importantly, the one who loved us first, Jesus Christ.
