Our Story

I am a part-time crafter and a full-time mom. I began my journey as a crafter in 2007 along with my awesome sister-in-law Paula (current owner of Paula’s Primitives). We worked side by side until December 2016. I'm just gradually getting back into the crafting world after a little over a year hiatus. I’ve decided to shift my business in a new direction and rather than have the demand of a physical location (previously at 112 South Chestnut Street) I decided to give an Etsy shop a try. As I already stated I am a full-time mom. I have three beautiful children Emily- a Social Work major at OUE, Kendal-a student at Barnesville Middle School, and Addie-a student at Barnesville Elementary. Although my older two children are pretty well self-sufficient, we did find out that our youngest has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As anyone with a special needs child will tell you, balancing work, therapies, and home life-not to mention after school activities, is a major challenge. Fortunately, my little girl is showing signs of improvement. As she has shown growth and signs of independence, I have been able to go back to some of the activities I love. I am so excited to introduce some new creations as well as some of my original work. I have missed this business and hope to touch base with old friends and some new ones.
