Okay still processing this 😭 my little sister wrote a CHILDREN’S BOOK — and it’s inspired by our shop. The plants, the vibe, even the shopkeeper (that’s me🥹) are all in it. Watching her turn Spotted Leaf into a story someone can read to their kids is something I NEVER saw coming, and I can’t wait to fill our shelves with this beautiful story

starting this off by saying ALL of our baby plant sales today (8/13) are going towards Turf Surf & Earth 🌱 and their family 💕

5 years ago spotted leaf wasn’t really a thought until Byron and Mackenzie told us that the storefront next door to them was up for rent. and then after they quite literally planted that seed, Matt and I birthed the idea of spotted leaf during a casual dinner convo… and here we are

all this to say that our shop probably wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for our next door neighbors Turf Surf & Earth 🌱 😭

their sweet little baby girl has been in the hospital for a bit, and today alongside some awesome somerville small businesses we’re giving our sales back to them to help them through this 🫶

come grab baby plants for baby Reagan, grab some food at Turf Surf & Earth 🌱 bc their restaurant is electric or you can donate to them directly at the link in our stories!!

all the other shops in on this are in our stories too 💕
