We may have been a little quiet this summer, but Burros & Bluebonnets has been busy.

The Texas heat convinced us to take a little break from dragging the book trailer around every weekend, so we used the downtime to work on school, the shop, and a few new ideas.

Chris is in college at Blinn, and the better looking half of Burros & Bluebonnets is taking classes at Texas A&M.
The bookshop has been busy too.
• We are now officially recognized as a Veteran-Owned Business by the Texas Veterans Commission.
• We tried out making some handmade wooden book holders.
• We added Book Bedazzling Kits and have been experimenting with a Book Bedazzling Bar.
• We launched our first digital products and an Etsy shop, including book club kits to make hosting your own book club a little easier.

And now that the weather is starting to cool down, we're looking at upcoming markets and figuring out where to take the trailer next.
We've missed setting up the shop, talking books, and seeing everybody. Keep an eye out for our fall schedule and check out our Linktree for all of our links.

It's been a while since I've done one of these. I’m in a fantasy mood right now after the tragic story of Into Thin Air. Kings of the Wyld has been a fun mix of humor and action, while He Who Fights with Monsters is another great LitRPG. Next up, I’m jumping into The Rage of Dragons and finally starting Mistborn.

Congrats to our very first trivia winners Emily and Allyson! They came and crushed our Disney Pixar theme and left with a GOAT medal and bookshop credit. Not to mention a fantastic evening! We can’t wait to do it with you again!
