After our annual School Kit Drive ended on the 1st, we took the $1405 in cash donations and purchased supplies (we kicked off the drive by donating $200, bringing the cash total to $1605). Some of it was used to complete the 67 kits that you lovely people brought it, and in total we ended up with 305 COMPLETE kits! We stuffed the last bags we had and filled boxes with the rest, rented a van, and drove to Reedley, CA yesterday for the drop off. I am SO happy to continue this tradition, and pleased as punch that we had such a successful year. We'll do the whole thing again in August of 2027! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanks to everyone who donated, whether it was money for us to purchase the supplies, supplies themselves or the bags we put them in. We quite literally couldn't do it without your help.

A lot can happen in a week! First, we ended our yearly School Kit Drive in partnership with The Mennonite Central Committee with fantastic numbers! Our fabulous supporters donated 67 kits PLUS $1,605 in cash donations! (If you donated over our new business Venmo, we did receive it but I have no way to comment on the donations! So thank you, thank you!) we have made the purchases with the donations for supplies and we should be able to send around 300 complete kits! Once the last of the supplies are here we will assemble and get final numbers.

We also are unpacking an alpaca fleece order (Pink poodles!), a very small holdover metal animal order while we wait for the huge October shipment AND Halloween is trickling in. Phew! Visit us 10 to 7 on Friday and Saturday, 10 to 6 the rest of the week!
