A sweet ride, two pups & a whole lot of vintage-loving fun! ❤️

This wonderful family came by Lady Buck Vintage all the way from San Francisco, rolling up in their fabulous classic van.  You know we LOVE fun cars & classics around here, so we had a feeling these folks were going to be fun.  We were right!

With two pups riding along in the back (a friendly reminder that Lady Buck is always dog-friendly!), they were already winning us over.   A little chatting, a little treasure hunting & we soon discovered that they own specializing in “General repair and restoration of classic cars, metal gates, furniture and cool old stuff.”  Now that's our kind of people!

We love getting to know the folks who stop by, & we're so glad we did because this family snagged some goodies, shared some laughs & made our day.

Founded in 1948 by Edith & Brian Heath, Heath Ceramics has been making beautiful, thoughtfully designed dinnerware in Sausalito for generations. Their work is a masterclass in functional design: simple, elegant forms, gorgeous glazes, & pieces made to be used & enjoyed every day.

🍷 SIX FEET OF MID-CENTURY FABULOUSNESS.

Just arrived at Lady Buck Vintage: a spectacular 6-foot-tall Arthur Umanoff wrought-iron wine rack. Yes, SIX FEET. And yes, it is every bit as fabulous as it sounds.

Arthur Umanoff was an American mid-century designer celebrated for turning practical furniture into sculptural design. His clever combinations of wrought iron, wood, leather, wicker & rattan have become highly collectible & his wine racks are some of his most recognizable designs.

This one is a showstopper. The towering arched frame & mesmerizing pattern of circular bottle holders make it part wine storage, part sculpture, part architectural statement.

67 bottles never looked so good. 🍷

🐘💰 A little elephant never hurt anybody... especially when he’s saving your money. 💰🐘

There’s something ridiculously charming about a mechanical elephant that takes its job as a piggy bank VERY seriously. Drop a coin into the tip of his trunk, give his tail a little tug, & watch the magic happen...

Up goes the trunk. In goes the coin. 🐘✨

It’s the kind of wonderfully whimsical little treasure that makes you stop, smile, & immediately start thinking about where you could put it in your own home. Equal parts conversation piece, mechanical marvel & pure vintage-inspired fun.

And honestly... who doesn’t need an elephant in charge of their savings? 😉

A TABLE THAT’S ALMOST TOO BEAUTIFUL TO CALL A TABLE.

Just arrived at Lady Buck Vintage & this one deserves a little attention. 👀

With a 59" round, ½" thick glass top & beautifully rounded edge, this spectacular piece is all about the base: three substantial wood supports that intersect in a dramatic teepee/tripod formation, creating an almost optical-illusion effect from every angle.

Sculptural. Architectural. A little bit mid-century magic.

It has the look & spirit of the iconic La Rotonda table by Mario Bellini for Cassina with that wonderful combination of clean geometry, clever engineering & wait… how is that actually holding the glass?! 🤌

At 29" high, it's perfectly proportioned for a dining table, but I could also see this making an incredible conference table, studio table or statement piece in a sophisticated Sonoma home, tasting room or office space.

Benefits of a 59" round top? Plenty of room for dinner parties without sacrificing the conversation.

This is one of those pieces that photographs beautifully… but you really need to see the construction in person.

It feels like the first real rain of the season here in Sonoma & we think that calls for a little retail therapy. ✨
