I making something a little different to attract some special birds. My wife hates seagulls, birds really. I respect her phobia and do not want to make her upset. So I am doing this with her knowledge and why. The 2 ft by 2 ft wood top be stained a crisp color and be protected with a sealing liquid. On the top will be a leopard like print and have a couple of furry cloth animal clumps. The birds I wish to attract are crows, hawks, and turkey vultures. Anything else is a bonus. I have a feeder with peanuts and a bluebird is already doing its best to empty it. One day it flew into the apartment and my wife saw it. The scream scared it, and all of us, and it flew out immediately. But on the bottom of this thing I am drawing, burning, staining, and coloring a dragon drawing. There will also be crystals imbedded into the wood. So when someone looks up, it will shine. When I draw something, all I see are flaws. I am trying for images not perfection. This a little light when I drew it, but will show up better after I do the next steps. More pictures will come

Okay, I think I found a way to post this table. I will sand and stain to make it smoother. The table is straight, but the edges will be sanded to rounding and joints will be sanded to a wielded level. I like to make things unique.

Hello all. My name is dragon and I set up wild dragon wood to share my projects, ask for input, and meet new people. This place is to show how I make wands, staves, canes, and stand alone projects. I got a chunk of California red wood that is about 50 or so years old. My idea is to make a contoured chess board, little wizard figures fighting, crystal out cropping, and burnt designs. Maybe a battery lights? All the materials are either recyclable materials, yard sale finds, or good will type shops. I do not like buying new when we can repurpose our left overs. Sharing my passion and hobby is a goal to the world. Making a few dollars would be nice? Just paying for my time is the goal. I have had Wicca people ask for hand held items in increase personal gifts or create spells. My work are prisms of people’s intentions. There is no powers granted by my work. Never get anything like I make unless it calls to you. Either you provide the woods, crystals, trinkets, and designs or you let me pick for you the stuff out of my collections do not buy till it feels right in your hands. I would rather make something several times to achieve the right thing. Even shopping online, see all your options before choosing anything in my archives of items. I am going to place some photos of this monstrosity of wood. Thank you all who are following me. I want to post more as the time moves forward. On a different note, I am trying to write a storybook? Short book? Something open ending? Is anybody interested in a princess book or a bull headed humanoid that is cursed, misunderstood monster, and trying to live? Maybe even grow?
