There’s something truly special about those VINTAGE VIBES. Whether it was a classic wooden frame that saw you through your first summer league or a hand-me-down that started it all, we LOVE the history of the game!

WOW!! The energy in the shop lately has been incredible!!! 🎾✨ We are seeing a massive YOUTH WAVE of talent coming through the doors at Drop the Racquet, and it is so inspiring to see the future of Vermont tennis in such good hands.

CHAMPIONS IN THE HOUSE!!! 🏆🎾

Huge shout out to the Rice High School girls tennis team for taking home the DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP! This is a massive moment for South Burlington and an even bigger one for these incredible athletes. 🌟🙌

This historic victory was led by FIRST-time coach Megan Shrestha, with the amazing help of Shona Botjer! It’s their FIRST division title in 17 years, and we are so proud of the hard work and heart they put on the court this season. Local pride is at an all-time high!

Whether you're a state champ or just picking up a racquet for the first time, we've got the gear to keep you swinging. We are currently highlighting our TOP-TIER Dunlop collection for BOTH tennis and pickleball!

There’s a special kind of music happening at Drop the Racquet this week! As the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival fills our streets with incredible sounds, we’re finding our own groove right here in the shop.

Did you know that professional stringing has its own rhythm? Our owner, Tom Twitchell, a Certified Racquet Technician, brings a master’s touch to every racquet. It’s a performance of precision and care, ensuring your gear is TUNED perfectly for your next big match! 🎹✨

And since we love supporting our local players, we’ve got something SWEET to fuel your game! We’re now carrying Couching Lion maple syrup, made right here by local tennis player Chaska Richardson. 🍁🎾 It’s the official fuel for those long sets, or just a killer breakfast!
