Under new ownership as of 2017, the Rock, Fossil, & Dinosaur Shop is all new! Well, we kept many of the fantastic activities that past patrons will know and new patrons will love. Run by an elementary school teacher and early childhood education professional of more than twenty years, the Shop is now geared more toward providing patrons with a more comprehensive, personal experience, as opposed to a transactional experience. The Shop offers sluicing, digging, sifting, and a world of rocks, fossils, and dinosaurs for children to explore and learn about. The Shop blends an outdoor prehistoric world, archeology, and gem prospecting in a fun, physically engaging, educational experience for children of all ages and adults alike. Pan for your own gemstones, minerals, and treasures. Explore mine shafts filled with hidden treasures. Keep the treasures you find, but make sure you wear your hard hat and lamp! Mine, dig up dinosaur remains, explore outdoor fossils and dinosaur exhibits, or just peruse the Shop's extensive inventory of fine gemstones, fossils, and other items! We can host birthday parties, fundraisers, field trips, and the like!

Alright, down to business...We will be open this Saturday (4/11) 10-1:30 and Sunday (4/12) 12-3. Everything is half off and there are plenty of minerals, crystals, fossils, and displays (wh***ey barrels, metal, glass, wooden displays) all just waiting to adorn your house, office, business, garden!
