So, last week I was interviewing for a position to work with a non-profit Christian company. As I was interviewing, the interviewee kept complimenting me and letting me know that I was well diverse and knowledgeable. However, I entered the interview feeling very unqualified. Have you ever felt that way? Like others acknowledge things about you that you don't see yourself? I do it all the time. This interview helped me realize that I need to start having more confidence in myself. I will work night and day for someone else's company, but when it comes to my own aspirations, I will think of all kinds of excuses to avoid doing the max amount of work! Ladies! Lets be our own boss! We MUST put in the same time into out personal aspirations as our 9-5 or else we will never see progress. It'll be worth it in the end!

One of my greatest struggles in life is my confidence. I think so little of myself. I am learning that I need to stop thinking negatively about myself because God created me. Talking negatively about myself is the same as saying that God made a mistake. God doesn't make mistakes. He is not man. He is perfect! Everyday that He wakes you up should be a message to you that He not only loves you, but that you still have work to do on this Earth. God loves you more than you can imagine. My goal this year is to learn to love and see myself the same way that God sees and loves me. I pray that you see and love yourself in the same way . If you don't, I pray that you start to.

Hey Sis, 2021 is going to be our year!! But girl, we need to be honest with ourselves. Reaching success is not easy! Reaching goals does not happen over night. They definitely will take longer to reach if we are taking short cuts and are not putting in consistent work!
