Got to do a T12 system on this single cab dually! Not too often that we get the chance to work on these so it was a nice change of pace to work on something a little different! This truck got a full T12 security and remote start package with integrated kill switch and GPS monitoring through the drone mobile app!

When it comes down to car audio everyone has their own preferences and opinions on what’s considered good or trash. It seems like there is no in between with people sometimes lol. With that being said, all that matters is finding something that works best for YOU. Not everyone is looking for the same exact sound setup and more importantly not everyone is working with the same budget 😅. As long as you find a set up that you like and you’re able to get a decent warranty then you can’t really go wrong!

The T13 platform is one of the most high end alarm systems available on the market! It gives you all the security and comfort features you can find on the T12, but with a more high end feeling remote key fob. The biggest flex that the T13 has over the T12 is that the T13 will give your vehicle proximity unlock- no more pressing any buttons to unlock your doors! Just walk up to it, get in and drive out.

The Drone XC dash camera is a great addition to your vehicle if you already have a compustar alarm system installed because it serves as an additional interior siren for when your alarm is triggered and it has the ability to automatically upload footage to the cloud each time your alarm is set off! Even if you don’t have an alarm system the Drone XC can serve as a standalone dash camera plus as a GPS tracker with a drone mobile subscription!

The action never stops! We got the chance to do this T13 before the Memorial Day weekend got started. A lot of times I get asked what the differences are between the T12 and the T13 but the answer is pretty simple- the remotes! The T13 and T12 share the exact same alarm platform with the only difference being that the T13 key fob has a proximity unlock feature and the T12 doesn’t. Aside from that they both make perfect remote start/ security options for most vehicles.

Getting rid of your car? Not a problem! You can still take most of your audio/alarm upgrades with you to your next vehicle! In this case we are removing a T12 remote start, two hifonics 4k amps, and four DB Drive G5 8” subs. All of this is going straight into our customer’s new 2026 2500HD.

Got the chance to work on this beauty! Went with a simple compustar security only system and added a kenwood double din for some modern comfort features like dual rear facing cameras and wireless CarPlay!
