👋 As we step into 2025, I’m excited to finally move past the conceptual stage and bring Nico Scout’s next chapter to life, with & for the community 🤝

After a rough year for small business retail (rising costs, sky-high expenses, & small retail being one of the first things cut from budgets -we miss you) it became clear that Nico Scout is more than just a store. With two years left on our lease, I’m using that time to shift our focus, not as an ending, but as a transformation. Rather than operating solely as a retail space, Nico Scout is evolving into a hybrid concept, scaling back the retail offering to a curated core selection (don’t freak, it’s not a massive change!) in order to expand into 2 new components: a design studio & a community creative hub.

As part of this transformation, I’m now offering professional creative services & collaborations! I’ve always handled all of Nico Scout’s design work (branding, marketing, graphics, photos, website, etc.) and now, I’m opening this service for hire to others. I’ll bring your visions to life ✔️

In addition I’ll be hosting regular community events to create space for connection & creative expression -bc we all need more of that. If you know a maker or creative with something to share, tell them to reach out! I’ll be leading many of these events too, so stay tuned.

It’s important to remember that creativity has real power, and we should be intentional about what we take in. Now more than ever, it’s time to fill our minds with things that contribute to our peace. Thank you for your continued support as we grow & evolve in these wild times! ❤️Amber
