Our friend Gurkan was our first adventurous soul to rent one of our kayaks down the North Upper Truckee! The next 10 days are hovering between low to mid 80s, and after what was our second-most epic winter in Tahoe history it is safe to say that river water is flowing strong 🔥🔥🔥
We are the closest shop to the main entry point of this iconic float. We can set you up quickly and easily with everything you need and it doesn’t matter if your car has racks. Give us a call and let us hook you up! 🇺🇸🎆🍻🤙🏽

Sun is out, we’re dug out, and our power is finally back on. We are back open for biz! Come see us if you still need season leases for your kiddos to shred some pow this season. Thank you to all the snow removal personnel (looking at you ) and power and electric professionals/ linemen working tirelessly to get our town back on its feet!

September in Tahoe. If you haven’t experienced it, you simply must. Perfect 3-day weekend weather is upon us.. and I can honestly speak from personal experience that as of yesterday, our lake water is feeling absolutely Heavenly. Throw your sunblock, your family, and maybe a few cold beverages/cooler into the car and come see us. We are on your way into town. We’ll outfit your with the perfect mechanism with which to experience that water ☀️ trust us ☀️ it won’t last much longer now.

Pup on a SUP! Have you tried to take your dog out on the water? Depending on his demeanor, you never know, they may just love it out there! You’ll never know until you try 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our very first SUP rental went out for a summer day at Kiva beach, with Moss the pup and Moss’ mommy Heather. She was also kind enough to leave us our first summer business review!

“Everything was great. Kevin did a great job communicating with me. Taking SUPs and kayaks off your vehicle is so much easier than loading haha Great price and service. Kevin was attentive and we will definitely be going back if we go back to Tahoe. We even got Moss on a SUP at Kiva Beach. Picture added.”

We had a very special renter this week, she touched my heart when I found out about her intended mission that she took with a kayak to the sparkling waters of Nevada Beach. She was gracious enough to share with me about a very special moment she had on the water that day.

“These are a few of my favorites from our time at Nevada Beach. We did a memorial for my Dad who passed away last year.. we wrote our goodbye's on some rocks we collected on the beach, then I paddled out and dropped them into the lake for my final moment with him as well. ❤️ “

Marianne this hits so close to home, more than you know. I’m thankful that you came to our shop and that we could be a small part of such a meaningful ritual for you. We hope you were able to find some peace out on the water and the solitude of the sparkling waves, in those final moments with your dad. ✨

Listen, if you have a car that drives, we can load a SUP(s) or kayak(s) (singular or plural!) on there for you! We have seen plenty of car model/watercraft combinations by now and our shop owner Kevin is slowly becoming the master of his craft 😎 Come see him and we promise he will take great care of you! 🤙🏽

We have all kinds of racks, foam blocks, cam straps and every configuration needed to load a SUP or kayak on any vehicle rooftop.. even ones that are curved, smooth and zero racks! Don’t worry, we got you!

We’ve been open for 13 days now and our very first customer walked through our doors yesterday. So exciting! Then grab it on your way into town. We are right at the bottom of Echo Summit, the first business you see on the left! If you reserve ahead, and tell us your car model we will be ready for you and it will be SO quick to get locked and loaded and on your way to those crystal clear waters! We can assist loading any car, even ones without racks. 🤙🏽
