Hey folks! A big thanks to everyone who came out to Art on the Grand last weekend! It was a great show, and I was so happy that the rain held off.

I've gone a week without even turning on my sewing machine, but it's time for my little break to be over, and to get back to making! I have a few orders in the queue, as well some best sellers to restock on. And of course I have some new ideas that need to come to life!

I don't have any other summer shows planned, so I will be working on getting my existing inventory loaded into my Etsy shop over the next few weeks. If you're following my shop on Etsy (You are, aren't you? Just click that little heart!), you should get notifications when new items are added. I am also planning on having a bit of a sale on some great bags that have been hanging around for a little bit too long, so stay tuned for some bargains!

I think the first up in my Etsy shop will be some spooky themed stuff, like this slouchy skull print shoulder bag.

It's been a busy day so far at Art on the Grand! So glad the weather gods have smiled on us, the forecast was looking a bit dicey there for a while!

I finally had a chance to get a picture of the booth. So if you're coming out, this is what to look for (although no guarantees any of the bags you see will still be here!).

It's almost here! Art on the Grand starts tomorrow! Will I see you there?

If you're coming out, here's a map showing where to find me. This year I'm on the other side of the street and closer to the end, near the theater and almost in front of the Basement Burger Bar. The ART on the GRAND website has an amazing interactive map, so you can see a list of all the other amazing artists who will be there and where their booths are located. https://www.artonthegrand.com/

Show hours are Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm.

"Hurry up, honey! Our show is on!"

Remember when you had to watch a show at the time it aired, or you just... missed it? And then you had to wait a week for the next episode? (Yeah, yeah, I'm showing my age!)

I'm not sure I'd want to give up my binge watching habit to go back to those days, but carrying a cute vintage TV purse as a bit of nostalgia? Yeah, that I can do!

Come on out to this weekend and see this and lots more!

(P.S. this is another bag that should eventually end up in my Etsy shop, but for now, there's only one available.)

Art on the Grand in downtown Farmington is less than a week away! So as usual I've been spending the last couple of months holed up in my sewing room, making new things that I hope you'll love! (And unfortunately, not posting about them. 😟) Many of these are ideas I had a while ago that I'm just now getting around to making!

Here's a peek at one of those ideas! Nothing says 2026 more than a flaming dumpster fire, right? But when it's this cute, maybe everything really will be fine. Maybe?

What's the top seller in my Etsy shop right now? This Dungeon Crawler Carl Jug o'Boom keychain! It's kinda crazy how popular these have been. Definitely not something I expected!

I don't always realize how long making applique pieces takes, but when you make five of them at one time, it becomes really obvious, especially for ones that are this detailed. Cutting, gluing, stitching (and on this one, painting)... it adds up! Not to mention the initial design time.

Still, it's all worth it for me. I love doing applique work, it really is my favorite part of making a bag.
