Built during the 1930s Colonial Revival period, this piece draws inspiration from the elegant Federal furniture of early America. Its graceful bow-front design and balanced proportions reflect an era when craftsmanship mattered and furniture was expected to remain in the family for years to come.

Somewhere along the way, it likely became more than a piece of furniture; becoming the keeper of family photographs, holiday memories, and everyday moments that would one day be cherished. And nearly a century later, it begins a new chapter, carrying its history into another home. ✨

And years later, their appearance may need a little love and work, but they’re still here standing strong, which is exactly what they were made to do. ❤️

This was a love at first sight kind of piece for me. 😍

You can almost picture it tucked into a quiet bedroom decades ago, holding hairbrushes, handwritten notes, maybe a little bottle of perfume saved for special days. The gentle curves, the soft drawers, the kind of piece that waited patiently while life happened around it.

If I’m being honest… if I were a little girl, this would’ve been THE vanity. The one I’d sit at pretending to get ready for nowhere in particular, feeling very grown up and very important. I would have hidden trinkets and treasures in the kneehole cabinet, which is probably my favorite feature to this piece. This piece has details, craftsmanship, and history; three of my favorite attributes I look for when sourcing pieces.

Restored with so much care, but still holding onto its story, this piece is ready to be part of someone else’s everyday moments now. 💕
