Owner Douglas Strohmer celebrated the groundbreaking ceremonies of his dream Garden Center in March of 2021. In July 2024, he was able to begin serving the public and providing products to see their dream gardens come true!

See What Everyone’s Been Talking About! Join Us for Our Fairy Garden Basket Workshop on July 11th! 🧚‍♀️🌿

If you’ve ever wanted to create your own magical miniature garden, this is the perfect class for you!

Our last Fairy Garden Workshop was filled with creativity, laughter, and beautiful one of a kind fairy gardens, and we can’t wait to do it again! ✨

Here’s how the fun begins:

🧺 Pick out your basket
🌱 Fill it with soil and choose your live plants
🧚 Select from a variety of fairy garden accessories included with your class
✨Browse our extra goodies table featuring fairy lights, hanging tire swings, miniature decorations, and more (fairy lights and tire swings were a huge hit last time!)

Once everyone has their supplies, you’ll gather around our community tables where our instructor will guide you through designing your own miniature fairy landscape. Arrange your plants, pathways, houses, and decorations however you’d like, every garden turns out completely unique!

Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or just looking for a fun creative outing, this workshop is a wonderful way to spend the day, meet fellow garden lovers, and leave with a magical creation to enjoy all season long. 🌸✨

Have you ever wondered how bees make honey, why pollinators are so important, or what it takes to care for a hive?

Join us this Saturday, June 20th from 11 AM–1 PM for a special FREE community event at Salem Gardens!

We're excited to welcome Jim from Heffernan's Honey & Beekeeping, who will be sharing his knowledge and passion for bees. This open-house style event is perfect for all ages, drop in anytime during the event!

You’ll get to discover the art of beekeeping up close, learn about how bees make honey and why they play such an important role in our environment, as well as get to enjoy a free sample of Heffernan’s delicious honey!

Whether you're a gardening enthusiast, a honey lover, or just looking for a fun and educational outing with the family, we'd love to see you there.
