The pumpkins in our patch are right on track to becoming the perfect jack-o'-lanterns! Join us for carving at McLaughlin Garden on October 12-14, 9:30am-5:00pm and have your fantastic creations featured in the 2026 Jack-o'-Lantern Spectacular (October 15-17, 6:00-8:30pm).

It's almost time! Please plan to join us at the McLaughlin Garden this Friday, September 4th from 9am - 4pm.

The historic McLaughlin Barn is the perfect setting for this Barn Quilt Class with the amazingly talented Saskia Reinholt, founder of the Maine Barn Quilt Trail. In this class, participants will learn about the history of barn paintings, color theory, painting techniques, and drafting a quilt block, and they will create their own barn quilt to take home.

We’re delighted to have hosted several beautiful weddings at McLaughlin Garden already this season, and we are honored that families have chosen the Garden as the setting for their special moments.

McLaughlin Garden is also a beautiful setting for graduation parties, baby and bridal showers, Celebrations of Life, family gatherings, and so much more.

It's time for Garden Illuminated at the McLaughlin Garden! Join us this evening (Friday, 8/21 from 7:00 - 9:00pm) for a walk through the beautifully illuminated garden. We'll have a variety of drinks on hand, including two signature cocktails / mocktails for the evening - a Raspberry Mojito and the English Garden! And, we've got savory treats too - an Italian Cream Wedding Cake, a Boston Cream Pie, and a Chocolate Ganache Cake! All of this adds up to a perfect late August evening in Maine, and we hope to see you.
