DIY Firework Suncatcher
Ingredients:
- Clear plastic sheet or transparent contact paper
- Colored tissue paper (various colors)
- Glue stick or liquid glue
- Scissors
- Black construction paper or cardstock
- Hole punch
- String or ribbon

Step-by-step Directions:

1. Prepare the Base: Start by cutting the clear plastic sheet or the transparent contact paper into your desired suncatcher shape, such as a circle, star, or square.

2. Cut Tissue Paper: Tear or cut the colored tissue paper into small pieces. You can use various colors to create a more vibrant design, reminiscent of fireworks in the sky.

3. Glue Tissue Pieces: Apply glue evenly on the plastic base. Begin sticking the tissue paper pieces onto the glued area in a firework pattern or choose a random technique for a more abstract look. Be sure to leave some spaces for light to shine through.

4. Create Frame: Take the black construction paper or cardstock and cut a frame to border the suncatcher. The frame should be slightly larger than the plastic sheet. Glue it around the edges of the suncatcher to give it a polished look.

5. Punch Hole: Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top of the suncatcher for hanging later.

6. Attach String: Cut a piece of string or ribbon and thread it through the hole you just punched. You can tie a knot to ensure the string stays secure.

7. Display: Hang your firework suncatcher in a sunny window. The sunlight will shine through the colored tissue paper, creating beautiful patterns and a festive atmosphere.

- Experiment with different shapes and sizes for your suncatcher. You can create a series of small suncatchers and hang them together for an eye-catching display.
