Birding is having a moment... and honestly, I love it.

I've been photographing wildlife since 2017—back when people thought I was a little weird for standing knee-deep in mud waiting for a bird. 😅

Honestly? The more people looking up instead of down at their phones, the better.

Independent shops like The Curious Heart are one of the reasons I love living in Cranford.

They’re not just places to buy things—they’re places that reflect the people behind them. Every item feels thoughtfully chosen, and every visit feels a little different.

Visiting my parents on Long Island and kicking myself for not bringing my good camera. The piping plover might actually be one of the cutest birds ever. I do miss living this close to my happy place, the beach❤️

This summer, Sharon Steele, Broker Associate of Coldwell Banker Realty selected 135 copies of There's This River as client appreciation gifts for past clients. Seeing these stacks of books on my dining room table is something I'll never forget.

As a fellow Cranford resident, I'm incredibly honored that Sharon chose to support a local author and photographer while thanking the people who have supported her business over the years.

Another milestone! I'm so excited to share that There's This River is now available at Patricia & Paul in downtown Westfield.

If you've never visited this beautiful shop, it's filled with thoughtfully chosen gifts, gourmet foods, and items that invite you to slow down and enjoy life's simple pleasures. I'm honored that my book has found a home there.

And on a personal note—I absolutely love their olive oils. Every time I use them at home, I feel like I'm dining at a five-star restaurant. They're one of those little everyday luxuries that make an ordinary meal feel special.
